Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 1 year experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
  • ability to use CRM and sales software tools
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to meet physical demands such as standing and walking for several hours
  • flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and on-call
  • willingness to travel to multiple hotel locations as needed

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of Encore or similar experience
  • 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
  • knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach
  • effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner
  • collaborate with vendors and other departments to capture and service events
  • attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support customer event experiences
  • understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines into solution designs
  • cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel and Encore departments
  • maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system at all times
