Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 1 year experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
- ability to use CRM and sales software tools
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to meet physical demands such as standing and walking for several hours
- flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and on-call
- willingness to travel to multiple hotel locations as needed
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of Encore or similar experience
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach
- effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers in a timely manner
- collaborate with vendors and other departments to capture and service events
- attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support customer event experiences
- understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines into solution designs
- cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel and Encore departments
- maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system at all times
