Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience
  • Experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to meet job demands such as standing, walking, and light lifting
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Encore or equivalent
  • 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach utilizing Encore's sales process and methodology
  • Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers including those submitted through online venue booking systems
  • Collaborate with vendors and other company departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support the customer event experience
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs according to profitability guidelines
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and internal teams to deliver world-class service
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM and actively refer customers through the Encore network to secure additional opportunities
