Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience
- Experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to meet job demands such as standing, walking, and light lifting
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience with Encore or equivalent
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach utilizing Encore's sales process and methodology
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers including those submitted through online venue booking systems
- Collaborate with vendors and other company departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support the customer event experience
- Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs according to profitability guidelines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and internal teams to deliver world-class service
- Maintain accurate customer information in CRM and actively refer customers through the Encore network to secure additional opportunities
