Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or related field
- Preferably with technology sales or hospitality background
- Proficiency in technical and computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Capacity to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to meet physical demands including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to upholding company core values and appearance guidelines
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
- Technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support customer event experience
- Understand event cost structure and incorporate it into solution designs following profitability guidelines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and internal departments
- Maintain an accurate and updated pipeline in the Customer Relationship Management system
- Support sales forecasting efforts and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Stay current with product/service offerings and emerging event technology
