Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or related field
  • Preferably with technology sales or hospitality background
  • Proficiency in technical and computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Capacity to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to meet physical demands including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Commitment to upholding company core values and appearance guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
  • Technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
  • Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support customer event experience
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate it into solution designs following profitability guidelines
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and internal departments
  • Maintain an accurate and updated pipeline in the Customer Relationship Management system
  • Support sales forecasting efforts and adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Stay current with product/service offerings and emerging event technology
