Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience
- Technical proficiency with computers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
- Must meet physical demands including occasional lifting and carrying
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to travel to multiple hotel locations
- Commitment to maintaining accurate customer records in CRM
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of Encore or similar industry experience
- Technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior audiovisual sales experience is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and other company departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning, and venue meetings to support customer experience
- Understand event cost structures and design solutions within profitability guidelines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
- Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure accurate sales forecasting
- Learn and adopt sales SOPs and new initiatives
- Stay updated on new products and emerging event technology
