Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, sales or marketing, or three years equivalent experience
- Updated ABC license for serving alcohol
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must complete golf cart training and hold valid driver's license
- Strong organizational and sales skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum three years wedding and events experience
- Minimum three years sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of CAD programs
- Extensive social media marketing knowledge
- Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

- Extensive knowledge of planning and executing weddings and special events
- Strong sales skills and ability to handle guest requests promptly

- Previous experience with a non-profit organization preferred
- Knowledge of current food and beverage trends preferred
Job Duties
- Discussing property guidelines and event contracts with clients to build revenue
- Coordinating with clients, planners, and vendors to manage rental equipment, layouts, and event execution
- Conducting pre-site visit screenings including budget discussions and venue recommendations
- Preparing monthly reports on event revenue and potential earnings
- Attending weekly meetings with internal Cheekwood departments related to events
- Responding promptly to event rental inquiries
- Maintaining accurate sales information including contracts, invoices, and profit tracking
- Ensuring clients understand and secure proper liability insurance
- Liaising between catering staff and event teams during events
- Assisting in planning and execution of internal events and public programming
- Overseeing Garden Club/Society bookings and events
- Hiring, training, and supervising event coordinators and part-time staff
- Representing Cheekwood at networking and bridal conferences
- Managing marketing efforts including social media and third-party platforms
- Ensuring venue rules are followed during event setup and cleanup
- Providing occasional bartending and event support
- Upholding professional appearance and adherence to policies
- Performing other duties as assigned
