Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years hotel event sales or event planning experience or completed Event Management trainee program
- bachelor’s degree or 2+ years hotel and/or food and beverage experience preferred
- previous selling experience
- ability to meet sales quota
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- understanding of contract negotiation and interpretation
- comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and departments
- knowledge of meeting room setups and sleeping room configurations
Job Qualifications

- comprehensive knowledge of hotel operational departments including guest services, reservations, housekeeping, audio visual, banquets, accounting, restaurants, and engineering
- knowledge of meeting room setups and sleeping room configurations
Job Duties
- Plan banquet food and beverage sales and menu planning
- set agendas and coordinate hotel meeting services
- review contracts and ensure clear communication with hotel staff before, during, and after events
- host hotel tours for prospective clients
- maintain strong customer relationships
- participate in and lead event and staff meetings
- collaborate effectively with sales, events team, and administrative assistants
