Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel or event sales preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge with the ability to learn new systems
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Prefer two years of hotel experience in a similar role

Job Duties

  • Sell and service events primarily in Banquet Food and Beverage
  • Plan menus and set agendas for events
  • Review contracts and ensure all details are accurate
  • Facilitate communication with hotel staff before, during, and after events
  • Host hotel tours for prospective clients
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Participate in and lead event and staff meetings
  • Collaborate effectively with sales and events teams
