Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of event sales experience
- Proven sales performance
- Strong communication skills

- Proficient in CRM and event management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in event sales, catering, or hospitality (private club, resort, or golf venue experience preferred)
- Proven track record of driving revenue and growing event business
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Attention to detail, strong computer skills
- Experience with CRM and event management systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or related field preferred
Job Duties
- Actively solicit and secure business for weddings, catering events, golf groups, business meetings, and social functions
- Conduct outbound sales efforts, respond to inquiries, and build interest through networking, referrals, and community presence
- Create and maintain relationships with event planners, vendors, and local businesses to build a strong pipeline
- Conduct property tours and present event spaces to prospective clients
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and finalize event details including banquet event orders (BEOs)
- Manage deposits and payments to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Participate in weekly sales and BEO meetings to review upcoming events and communicate details to the Food & Beverage and Golf Operations teams
