Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of hotel or event management experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and schedules

Job Qualifications

  • True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
  • Ability to work flexible schedule

Job Duties

  • Sell banquet food, beverage, and meeting room rentals
  • Plan menus and set agendas for events
  • Facilitate communication with hotel staff before, during, and after events
  • Host hotel tours for prospective clients
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Participate in and potentially lead event and staff meetings
  • Collaborate with sales and events team and administrative assistants
