Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant hotel sales experience
- minimum 1 year of food and beverage experience
- strong contract negotiation skills
- proficient in Microsoft Office
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to work under pressure
- strong organizational skills
- knowledge of banquet operations and event planning
- sales-driven mindset
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
- 1 year food and beverage experience
- strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
- developed business communication skills both written and verbal
- advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- confident and professional appearance
- proactive sales approach, assertive and fast paced
- ability to execute and support Hotel Customer Service Standards and Brand Standards
- understanding of market segment, competitors, economic trends, supply and demand
- ability to work well under pressure
- strong time management skills
- effective communication skills
- creativity in designing events
- working knowledge of banquet department including sets, AV equipment, scheduling, menu planning
- ability to design menus with culinary department to maximize profit
- proven experience with Hospitality Sales CRM systems such as Delphi, Daylight, Marriott CI/TY, and Starwood ISAC
Job Duties
- Sell banquet and catering services
- plan event menus and agendas
- coordinate hotel meeting and event services
- review and manage event contracts
- conduct site inspections
- maintain strong client relationships
