Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2+ years hotel sales experience
- 1 year food and beverage experience
- strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills
- developed business communication skills both written and verbal
- advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- confident and professional appearance
- proactive sales approach
- ability to execute and support hotel customer service and brand standards
- understanding of market segments and economic trends
- ability to work well under pressure
- strong time management skills
- effective communication with public and employees
- creativity in event design
- working knowledge of banquet department operations
- ability to design menus to maximize profit
- experience with hospitality sales CRM systems
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
- minimum 2 years hotel sales experience
- at least 1 year food and beverage experience
- strong business communication skills both written and verbal
- advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- confident and professional appearance
- demonstrated capability with hospitality sales CRM systems such as Delphi, Daylight, Marriott CI/TY, and Starwood ISAC
- strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills
- creativity in event design
- knowledge of banquet operations including sets, AV equipment, scheduling, and menu planning
Job Duties
- Sell banquet and catering services
- coordinate event planning and execution
- develop event agendas and menus
- manage event contracts and client communications
- conduct site inspections and maintain client relationships
- collaborate with sales, catering, and event operations teams
- ensure high standards of customer service and event quality
