Job Requirements

  • Education level equivalent to a college degree preferred
  • minimum 3 years of related sales experience, preferably in golf, hospitality, or service industry
  • solid computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM software
  • strong customer service skills
  • proven leadership and team-building ability
  • effective time management and organizational skills
  • ability to work with little or no supervision
  • positive and engaging attitude
  • capability to actively participate in social media platforms to drive sales

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of how to use social media to drive sales including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest
  • positive, engaging, and team-oriented workplace attitude
  • proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM software
  • solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • excellent customer service orientation
  • strong leadership and people skills with the ability to build and foster a team environment
  • college degree preferred or 3 years related experience in sales, preferably in golf, hospitality, or service industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships
  • sell and market to external markets including corporate events, meetings, trainings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, personal milestone events, holiday parties, celebrations of life, school athletic banquets, and fundraisers
  • act as an ambassador for the property, fostering relationships with individuals and corporations to maintain repeatable and predictable business while prospecting for new events
  • heighten awareness externally within the community through participation in bridal shows, golf shows, and other public events
  • be a positive role model in social media formats and public forums by consistent participation in all public-facing opportunities
  • maximize tournament revenues to meet and exceed sales goals and budgets through the sale of groups of 20 players or more and negotiate tournament product and tee time utilization effectively
  • work closely with Executive Chef on custom menu design and communicate upcoming events with management team
  • generate and implement definitive sales and marketing plans to achieve departmental revenue goals
