Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer-facing or sales support role in hospitality or events industry
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
  • Capability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Effective communication skills including talking, hearing, and visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year customer-facing or sales support experience in hospitality or events
  • College coursework in hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Basic understanding of marketing and prospecting strategies
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and event management software
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Assist the Event Sales Manager with event sales coordination and execution
  • Serve as primary client contact during event planning
  • Support creation and distribution of event proposals, contracts, and floor plans
  • Maintain and update client database and prospect inventory
  • Ensure proper filing and organization of event documents and payment records
  • Assist with financial tracking including deposits and payments
  • Manage event supplies and coordinate with vendors
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for event execution
  • Participate in sales and event meetings
  • Provide administrative support to Event Sales Manager and Director
  • Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks
  • Follow company and department policies and procedures
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions
  • Follow safe working practices and promote compliance
  • Pursue personal and professional growth and certifications
  • Address challenges with regional and corporate support
  • Attend daily briefings and contribute actively to the team
