Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer-facing or sales support role in hospitality or events industry
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
- Capability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Effective communication skills including talking, hearing, and visual acuity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year customer-facing or sales support experience in hospitality or events
- College coursework in hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of marketing and prospecting strategies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and event management software
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Assist the Event Sales Manager with event sales coordination and execution
- Serve as primary client contact during event planning
- Support creation and distribution of event proposals, contracts, and floor plans
- Maintain and update client database and prospect inventory
- Ensure proper filing and organization of event documents and payment records
- Assist with financial tracking including deposits and payments
- Manage event supplies and coordinate with vendors
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for event execution
- Participate in sales and event meetings
- Provide administrative support to Event Sales Manager and Director
- Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks
- Follow company and department policies and procedures
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions
- Follow safe working practices and promote compliance
- Pursue personal and professional growth and certifications
- Address challenges with regional and corporate support
- Attend daily briefings and contribute actively to the team
