Job Requirements
- ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
- ability to conduct on-property site tours including uneven surfaces, stairs, and multiple buildings
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing
- ability to use standard office equipment such as computer, phone, and printer
- ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business levels require
- ability to maintain attention to detail in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- a genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in general computer applications and office software
- exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- preferably two years of hotel sales or event planning experience
Job Duties
- sell events specializing in wedding and social markets
- plan and service banquet food and beverage functions
- secure meeting room rentals
- conduct site inspections and client entertainment
- develop menus and event agendas
- review contracts and coordinate with resort departments
- cultivate strong client relationships and prospect new business opportunities
