Job Requirements

  • ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • ability to conduct on-property site tours including uneven surfaces, stairs, and multiple buildings
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing
  • ability to use standard office equipment such as computer, phone, and printer
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business levels require
  • ability to maintain attention to detail in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • a genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in general computer applications and office software
  • exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • preferably two years of hotel sales or event planning experience

Job Duties

  • sell events specializing in wedding and social markets
  • plan and service banquet food and beverage functions
  • secure meeting room rentals
  • conduct site inspections and client entertainment
  • develop menus and event agendas
  • review contracts and coordinate with resort departments
  • cultivate strong client relationships and prospect new business opportunities
