Job Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
- ability to conduct on-property site tours including outdoor areas, uneven surfaces, stairs, and multiple building locations
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing
- ability to use standard office equipment such as computer, phone, and printer
- ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business levels require
- ability to maintain attention to detail in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in general computer applications and office software
- exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- preferably two years of hotel sales or event planning experience
- a genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Sell banquet food and beverage services focusing on Wedding and Social markets
- plan event menus and agendas
- review and negotiate contracts
- coordinate all hotel meeting and catering services
- conduct site inspections and host client entertainment
- cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships
- participate in and sometimes lead event meetings
- prospect and develop new business opportunities
- collaborate effectively with sales, catering, administrative, and operational teams
