Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience
  • proven sales track record
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage high volume projects
  • proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office
  • availability to work weekdays and some weekends
  • willingness to travel locally about 20% in company vehicle
  • professional and positive attitude
  • strong customer service orientation

  • ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of event rental, festival production, hospitality, customer service or sales experience
  • sales experience and event management or hospitality degree is a plus
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • availability to work Monday through Friday with some weekends as required
  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • lifelong learner who seeks feedback for continuous improvement
  • positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • desire to help team members grow and serve clients effectively

Job Duties

  • respond to incoming inquiries within one business day
  • hospitably answer phones to assist in creating customer quotes and orders
  • field leads outside of purview promptly according to company standard
  • proactively reach out to assigned house accounts monthly to turn quotes to orders
  • assist customers with event order design, order changes and product questions
  • manage multiple projects and handle heavy call and email volumes
  • maintain and expand strategic accounts
  • consult with clients to determine event production details and rental needs
  • ensure deposits and final payments are collected according to company standards
  • prepare and follow up on customer quotes within 48 hours
  • enter and verify accuracy of customer quotes, orders, production schedules and timelines
  • participate in weekly sales meetings
  • conduct on-site visits and appointments
  • master order entry software including delivery, return, labor pricing and billing
  • troubleshoot rental inventory issues
  • educate customers about all rental items and cross sell products
  • assist with weekend office coverage as needed
  • maintain confidentiality of client and company information
  • build trust within sales and operations teams
  • attend industry networking events
  • travel locally approximately 20%
