Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, communications, or related field
  • At least two years' experience in a stadium or arena location
  • Six to eight years' experience in event planning and execution
  • Passion for taking calculated risks informed by data and team consensus
  • Prior experience in corporate, entertainment, and social event management
  • Certification such as CMP, PMP, or CSEP preferred
  • Knowledgeable in event management software like SalesForce or Momentus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in internet communications and MS Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Capacity to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks
  • Commitment to core values of integrity, innovation, and teamwork
  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings
  • Ability to work in high activity outdoor sports venue environments with physical demands

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Communications, or related field
  • Six to eight years of experience in building events from ideation to execution
  • At least two years of experience working in stadium or arena locations
  • Prior experience in corporate, entertainment, and social event management
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) preferred
  • Knowledge of event management software such as SalesForce or Momentus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with internal and external parties
  • Proficiency in internet communications technologies and MS Office applications
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the planning and execution of self-produced events at Nationals Park
  • Develop a diverse calendar of programs and present viable options to leadership
  • Manage budget development and tracking for all self-produced events
  • Collaborate with marketing, ticket sales, vendor procurement, and event operations teams
  • Create and manage unique sponsorship opportunities with corporate partners
  • Act as primary liaison for event partners in co-produced events
  • Conduct market research and stay informed on trends and entertainment options
  • Source and manage vendors and production partners via RFP process
  • Maintain internal event booking database and oversee contract processes
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
