Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in event production, meeting management, or hospitality
- bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, communications, or a related field preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive under pressure
- strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
- experience negotiating contracts and managing event budgets
- demonstrated problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in event production, meeting management, or hospitality

- proven success in producing high-quality corporate events, from initial concept through on-site execution
- strong organizational, project management, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive under pressure
- confident problem-solver and collaborative team player with strong decision-making skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Cvent or similar event management software experience preferred
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed

Job Duties
- collaborate with internal teams, executive leadership, and external partners to define event objectives, creative direction, and production requirements
- manage all facets of event logistics, including venue sourcing, room setup, décor, food and beverage, A/V, signage, transportation, and on-site coordination
- cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality service delivery
- develop and manage detailed event budgets, oversee purchase orders and invoicing, and ensure financial accountability
- conduct domestic and international site research, providing strategic recommendations aligned with stakeholder goals and brand standards
- oversee attendee communications, registration, housing, and travel logistics, ensuring a seamless and engaging participant experience
- anticipate potential challenges, provide proactive solutions, and ensure flawless execution throughout the event lifecycle
- act as on-site event lead, representing the Global Corporate Events team and ensuring alignment with Mattel’s brand, culture, and objectives
