Job Duties
- Oversee the setup and teardown of event spaces (tables, chairs, staging, equipment)
- ensure furniture and equipment are arranged according to floor plans
- monitor and maintain cleanliness of event areas before, during, and after events
- ensure restrooms, entryways, and common areas are clean and fully stocked
- manage cleaning and event supply inventories
- submit supply requests and track usage to avoid shortages
- act as a liaison between event coordinators, clients, and the portering team
- respond quickly to on-site needs or issues during events
- enforce safety standards and sanitation protocols
- report hazards or maintenance needs to management promptly
- verify post-event reports and shift logs/schedules
- record incidents or maintenance issues accurately
