Job Requirements
- Able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to exert medium physical effort including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong balancing, crouching, and manual dexterity
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to attend to details and perform mathematical calculations
- Experience with soliciting and monitoring vendors
- Ability to use computer software applications proficiently

Job Qualifications

- Experience in event planning or coordination
- Knowledge of event planning principles and practices

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and details simultaneously
Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor logistical details of events including scheduling, staffing, facility, equipment, and supply needs
- Determine volunteer requirements
- Identify and secure event entertainment and activities
- Identify funding sources and solicit event sponsors
- Document logistical details and communicate information to event support staff
- Monitor facilities, staff, activities, equipment, and supplies during events ensuring safety and resolving issues
- Implement event marketing plans
- Solicit and monitor vendor operations and performance
