Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in convention services, catering, or event planning in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • proven experience managing multiple events and client accounts simultaneously
  • familiarity with event management software, hotel property management systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to remain calm under pressure and solution-oriented when addressing client needs
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • ability to balance operational logistics with customer service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in convention services, catering, or event planning in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • proven experience managing multiple events and client accounts simultaneously
  • familiarity with event management software, hotel property management systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event objectives and translate them into detailed, executable plans
  • serve as the point of contact from contract turnover through post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless coordination between departments
  • conduct pre-convention meetings and walkthroughs, communicate event details with precision, and respond to last-minute requests with poise and professionalism
  • support the sales team by contributing to the pre-event planning process and offering creative, on-brand solutions that elevate the guest experience
  • proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement, upselling, and guest satisfaction enhancements
  • build strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and future bookings
  • other duties assigned by the leader
