Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in convention services, catering, or event planning in a hotel or hospitality setting
- successful completion of a criminal background check
- proven experience managing multiple events and client accounts simultaneously
- familiarity with event management software, hotel property management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, communications, or related field preferred
- equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Job Duties
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event objectives and translate them into detailed, executable plans
- serve as the point of contact from contract turnover through post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless coordination between departments
- conduct pre-convention meetings and walkthroughs, communicate event details with precision, and respond to last-minute requests with poise and professionalism
- support the sales team by contributing to the pre-event planning process and offering creative, on-brand solutions that elevate the guest experience
- proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement, upselling, and guest satisfaction enhancements
- build strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and future bookings
- perform other duties assigned by the leader
