Job Requirements
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- minimum 2-5 years of hotel event sales or event planning or comparable experience preferred
- proficient in general computer knowledge
- extremely detail oriented and organized
- able to handle a fast-paced environment
- preferred two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
- preferred completion of PSS or equivalent training

Job Duties
- Prepare and manage all event documentation
- coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers to ensure high-level service
- act as liaison between meeting planners and hotel staff
- administer sales agreements
- detail all food, beverage, and audiovisual needs
- manage room blocks and pickup
- oversee billing instructions and final review
- recognize and pursue opportunities to maximize revenue by upselling and offering event enhancements
