Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- One year of hotel sales or catering experience
- Knowledge of sales techniques and yield management
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong follow-up and communication skills
- Ability to comprehend and adhere to instructions
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective time management and planning
- Ability to solve problems and make business decisions
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to hear, speak, read and write English fluently
- Physical ability to meet clients on and off premises and attend functions
- Compatible with office environment and outdoor sales calls

Job Duties
- Execute all aspects of event planning including meetings, reunions, social functions and catering
- Coordinate business activities from signing group contracts through event execution
- Target, capture and coordinate catering sales efforts
- Meet and exceed revenue and productivity goals as established by management
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure client expectations are exceeded
- Make appointment-oriented sales calls requiring reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Maximize key accounts and develop new business through networking and referrals
