Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- One year minimum hotel sales or catering experience
- Reliable transportation and valid state driver's license for outside sales calls
- Ability to hear, speak, read and write English fluently
- Effective verbal communication and business writing skills
- Dexterity and mobility to meet clients on and off premises and operate office equipment
- Vision to read fine print and computer screens
- Ability to work in an office environment and occasionally in weather exposure when making sales calls
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Execute all aspects of event planning including meetings, reunions, social functions and catering
- Coordinate all group business as developed by the sales manager and follow up on all signed contracts within 5 working days
- Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure meetings and related functions meet client expectations
- Conduct appointment-oriented direct sales calls to promote catering sales with reliable transportation
- Maximize key account management by identifying and developing revenue growth opportunities
- Capture new accounts through networking, research, and solicitation targeting competitor accounts
- Maintain well-documented and organized client files and develop customer profiles for superior account service
