Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years experience in event planning or related hospitality role
  • proficiency in event management software
  • excellent time management skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • prepare all event documentation
  • coordinate with sales, property departments and customers to ensure high-level service
  • administer sales agreements
  • detail all food, beverage and audiovisual needs
  • manage room blocks and monitor pick-up
  • oversee billing instructions and final event review
  • recognize opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering event enhancements
