Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel event sales or event planning
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Preferred completion of event management training
  • Preferred completion of PSS or equivalent training

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environments
  • Event Management trainee program completion preferred
  • Completion of PSS or equivalent training preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare event documentation and coordinate with sales and property departments
  • Act as liaison between meeting planners and hotel staff
  • Administer sales agreements and detail food, beverage, and audiovisual requirements
  • Manage room blocks and pickup
  • Oversee billing instructions and conduct final event reviews
  • Identify and offer event enhancements to maximize revenue
  • Ensure high-level service throughout all event phases
