Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of relevant event planning or hotel event sales experience
  • proficiency in computer applications
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • strong organizational skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • minimum two years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • proficiency in general computer skills required
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • highly detail oriented and organized
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • hotel experience or completion of an event management trainee program preferred
  • completion of PSS or equivalent training preferred

Job Duties

  • liaise between meeting planners and hotel departments to ensure service delivery
  • manage banquet food and beverage services for group events
  • coordinate audio-visual requirements for meetings and functions
  • oversee meeting room rentals and space allocations
  • act as the on-site contact to ensure smooth event execution
  • maintain detailed communication with clients to gain commitment and confirm event needs
  • collaborate with various hotel teams to address any event-related issues promptly
