Job Requirements
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Ability to handle fast paced and dynamic work conditions
- Ability to move 10lbs regularly and push, pull and lift up to 50lbs
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience
- Proficient in general computer use
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Experience in Sales, Catering or Banquets preferred
- Completion of an Event Management trainee program or equivalent training preferred
- Completion of PSS or equivalent training preferred
Job Duties
- Administer sales agreements for event bookings
- Coordinate all Food, Beverage and Audio/Visual needs
- Manage room blocks and monitor pick up rates
- Communicate billing instructions and perform final reviews
- Serve as the on-site contact to ensure smooth event execution
- Collaborate with meeting planners and various hotel departments
- Oversee details to guarantee client satisfaction during events
