Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, marketing, communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning and management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of event budgeting and financial management
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events including corporate functions, social gatherings, and conferences
  • Develop creative event concepts and themes tailored to client needs
  • Manage event budgets effectively ensuring cost-efficiency and profitability
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements
  • Ensure all events comply with safety regulations and licensing requirements
  • Liaise with clients throughout the planning process providing regular updates and managing expectations
  • Oversee on-site event management to ensure smooth operation and client satisfaction
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and provide detailed reports
