Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments
  • ability to manage multiple events simultaneously

  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • ability to promptly answer telephones and enthusiastically greet guests
  • experience producing quotes and written confirmations
  • knowledge of hotel services and amenities
  • ability to meet with clients and provide property tours
  • skill in collaborating with team members
  • initiative to resolve guest complaints
  • experience working with vendors and budgets
  • proficient in general computer knowledge
  • extremely detail oriented and organized
  • able to handle fast paced environment

Job Duties

  • Service group sales and local catering bookings
  • act as liaison between clients and hotel staff
  • administer sales agreements including food, beverage and A/V details
  • manage room blocks and pick up
  • coordinate billing instructions and final review
  • serve as on-site contact to ensure smooth event execution
  • collaborate with banquet team and other departments
  • review and coordinate creative menus with Banquet Chef
  • communicate guest needs to staff and management
  • resolve guest complaints and enhance loyalty
  • work with vendors and adhere to event budgets
  • utilize hotel booking guidelines and operational procedures
