Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in hotel event sales or event planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with computer applications relevant to event management
  • Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as required
  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working within hotel booking guidelines and operational procedures
  • Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program

Job Duties

  • Serve as liaison between clients and hotel staff to coordinate event details
  • Administer sales agreements including food, beverage, and audio/visual requirements
  • Manage room blocks, pickup, billing instructions, and final event reviews
  • Act as the on-site contact to ensure smooth execution of events
  • Support banquet team with event preparation and real-time assistance
  • Produce timely and thorough banquet event orders and group resumes
  • Collaborate with chefs on menu creativity and new product ideas
