Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning or comparable experience
  • preferred two years of hotel experience
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • extremely detail oriented and organized

Job Duties

  • Administer sales agreements detailing food, beverage, and audio/visual needs
  • manage room blocks and pick-up
  • oversee billing instructions and final reviews
  • accurately forecast sleeping room pickup and event revenue
  • recommend enhancements to group programs through additional products or services
  • solve problems and suggest alternatives to previous arrangements
  • act as the group’s on-site contact and ensure smooth execution of all events
