Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree of hotel management or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weight
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in hotel event sales or event planning
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client events simultaneously
  • Ability to foster positive client relationships

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients through effective communication
  • Anticipate client needs and ensure all requirements are met prior to and throughout their visit
  • Attain high client satisfaction scores
  • Respond promptly to client feedback and address concerns to ensure instant resolution
  • Coordinate and confirm all event details including room setups, food and beverage, audiovisual, transportation, and billing
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client files and distribute accurate information to relevant departments
  • Collaborate with operational teams to fulfill contractual obligations and uphold service standards
  • Participate in weekly meetings to review event progress and resolve issues
  • Lead by example to promote a cooperative and motivated work environment
  • Assist other departments as needed based on business demands
