Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weight
  • Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in hotel event sales or event planning
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Detail oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients through effective communication
  • Anticipate client needs and ensure all expectations and requirements are met
  • Achieve high client satisfaction service scores
  • Respond promptly to client exit interviews and meeting planner evaluations
  • Ensure all event functions are verified prior to client arrival and meet hotel standards
  • Coordinate event details with appropriate departments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Conduct pre- and post-event meetings to review event success and areas for improvement
