Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel event sales or event planning preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with general computer applications
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to handle a fast paced environment
  • Prefer two years of hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
  • Completion of PSS or equivalent training preferred

Job Duties

  • Sell and contract affiliate group events
  • Administer sales agreements accurately
  • Detail all food, beverage, and audiovisual needs
  • Manage room blocks and pick up schedules
  • Review billing instructions and perform final billing audits
  • Serve as on-site contact for events
  • Ensure smooth execution of all onsite events
