- minimum 1 year experience in event planning or hotel event sales
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency in computer applications
- strong organizational skills
- ability to handle fast paced environment
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- minimum 1-3 years hotel event sales or event planning experience
- proficiency in general computer knowledge
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- detail oriented and organized
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- preferred two years hotel experience or completed event management trainee program
- preferred completion of PSS or equivalent training
Job Duties
- administer sales agreements
- detail food, beverage, and audio/visual needs
- manage room blocks and pick up
- oversee billing instructions
- conduct final reviews
- act as on-site contact for event execution
- coordinate with meeting planners and hotel staff
