Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • Detail oriented and organized with the ability to handle a fast paced environment
  • Prefer two years hotel experience or completion of an Event Management trainee program
  • Prefer candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training

Job Duties

  • Administer sales agreements for event bookings
  • Detail food, beverage, and audio/visual requirements for events
  • Manage room blocks and monitor pick-up for event attendees
  • Coordinate billing instructions and conduct final billing review
  • Serve as on-site contact for events to ensure smooth execution
  • Liaise between meeting planners and hotel staff for effective communication
  • Troubleshoot event-related issues and provide exceptional customer support
