Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in event planning or hotel event coordination
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills including event management software
  • Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships

  • Proven experience in event planning or hospitality management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Proficiency in coordinating with various hotel departments
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to lead meetings and work collaboratively with teams

Job Duties

  • Guide clients through the experience creation journey
  • Detail all food, beverage and A/V needs
  • Manage room blocks and pick up
  • Provide clients billing instructions and facilitate final review of all charges
  • Review and coordinate with banquet chefs on creative menus and new product ideas
  • Meet with clients to work out the details of their functions and escort them through the property highlighting features and available services
  • Produce quotes and written confirmations such as banquet event orders and group resumes in a timely and thorough manner
  • Lead BEO and EO meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication
  • Work with vendors as needed and adhere to internal event budgets
