Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience in administrative or clerical roles
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work full time on-site at National Harbor, Maryland
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred
  • Proficiency in using computers and office software including word processors, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of office equipment operation and maintenance

Job Duties

  • Enter and retrieve information from computer databases using keyboard, mouse, or trackball for updating records, files, and reservations and respond to guest inquiries
  • Transmit information or documentation using computer, mail, or fax
  • Operate standard office equipment besides computers
  • Draft letters, memos, and other documents using word processors, spreadsheets, databases, or presentation software
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, date stamp, and distribute incoming mail
  • Create and maintain filing and organization systems in electronic and paper formats for files, reports, and documents
  • Collect, copy, classify, and file office activity records, business transactions, and other documents
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Greet and recognize all guests according to company standards, anticipate and meet their service needs, assist persons with disabilities, and express genuine gratitude to guests
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others, prepare and review documents accurately, answer phones using appropriate protocols
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Support the team to achieve common goals and listen and respond appropriately to colleagues concerns
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and position without assistance objects weighing 10 pounds or less
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
