Job Requirements
- Must be a junior or senior student pursuing a degree in event planning, hospitality, marketing, communications, or related field
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to generate fresh ideas and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be available to work 20 hours per week in-person in Philadelphia, PA
Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior student in event planning, hospitality, marketing, communications, or related field
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Creative with the ability to generate fresh event ideas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Canva or event management software is a plus
Job Duties
- Plan and execute engaging community events such as themed socials and wellness activities
- Support planning and logistics of internal corporate events including team-building and celebrations
- Assist in organizing and promoting resident-led clubs and activities
- Research, communicate with, and coordinate vendors for event needs
- Work with marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Assist in managing event budgets ensuring cost-effective planning
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown ensuring smooth experience for attendees
