Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications
  • 3+ years in meeting planning preferred
  • financial industry experience preferred
  • exceptional computer skills including word, excel, access, outlook
  • experience using mail merges, creating graphics, and utilizing databases
  • excellent grammar, editing and proofing skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to tolerate peak workloads and multiple assignments
  • strong customer service commitment
  • excellent organizational skills
  • self-starter
  • ability to work independently
  • ability to travel approximately 20%

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist with the coordination of 1-1 meetings for conferences including scheduling and inputting meetings
  • assist with the coordination of larger events including meeting logistics and room setup
  • prepare and distribute multiple registration and attendance reports
  • create and maintain the conference website
  • work on meeting and travel logistics with directors and senior planners
  • prepare communication materials including invitations and signage
  • independently coordinate smaller events from conception to completion
  • create cost proposals, budgets, and recaps for events
  • proof conference and event marketing materials
  • coordinate transportation needs for programs
  • develop and maintain vendor and client relationships
  • undertake additional projects as assigned
