Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales, hospitality, or event planning
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license with good record
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds and access to all ballpark areas
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Hospitality and Tourism, Event Industry, Marketing or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in Sales, Hospitality, Event Planning or Management
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, Padres games and extended hours
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Able to travel as needed
- Must successfully complete post-offer pre-employment requirements including background check and drug screen
Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from concept through completion including creation of event schematics, client billing, client relations, staffing requests, invoicing and reconciliation
- Create event timelines, agendas, run of show documents and production schedules
- Manage event-day coordination including staff, load-in, vendors, catering and production at Petco Park, The Rady Shell, and EVE
- Conduct site visits with prospective clients and vendors
- Drive event revenue to meet departmental financial goals
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and negotiate contracts to maintain budget
- Prepare event proposals including mood boards for clients
- Source and manage vendors including securing detailed cost estimates
- Stay current on event styles and trends
- Represent the Club in a professional manner at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
