Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in event planning and management in a corporate setting
  • Strong proficiency with event management platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as required for events
  • Knowledge of US vendor and venue markets
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation and budgeting capabilities
  • Ability to comply with regional compliance and regulatory policies
  • Ability to work independently and within teams
  • Adaptability to varying work situations and environments

Job Qualifications

  • 4 plus years in corporate event planning and management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with initiative
  • Familiarity with US venues and vendor landscapes
  • Proven relationship building skills at various organizational levels
  • Professional integrity and cultural sensitivity
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Basic commercial and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and adaptability
  • Proficiency in event management tools such as Cvent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Job Duties

  • Assist in planning and executing internal and external events including sponsored conferences and third-party events
  • Support event lifecycle from requests through execution and post-event reporting
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure successful event delivery
  • Support branded merchandise and corporate gifting initiatives
  • Prepare budget reports incorporating qualitative and quantitative data
  • Develop and maintain accurate budgets ensuring financial compliance
  • Source, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor services
  • Adhere to regional compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to venue selection leveraging regional knowledge
  • Gain knowledge of production and audio-visual requirements
  • Support on-site event execution, staffing, and vendor management
  • Provide reconciled budgets and conduct post-event debriefs and surveys
  • Manage business unit relationships regarding event strategy and budgeting
