Job Duties

  • assist the manager in coordinating staff and convention personnel to organize group meetings and conventions
  • arrange availability of audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays, and other event needs
  • conduct post-event evaluations to identify improvements for future events
  • coordinate details with staff at event sites
  • consult with clients to determine objectives and requirements for events such as meetings, conferences, and conventions
  • coordinate services including accommodation, transportation, catering, signage, displays, special needs, printing, and security
  • design and implement publicity efforts and promote sponsorships
