Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- minimum 2-3 years of experience in event management, customer service, or related field
- effective communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- proficiency in event scheduling software
- knowledge of CSU event policies
- ability to attend and work off-campus or after-hours events
- physical ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds
- valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- pass criminal background investigation
- mandatory reporter certification

Job Duties
- process facility reservation requests from on-campus and off-campus clients
- determine appropriate facility and service requirements
- provide client with rental information including facility use policies, procedures, and resources
- review and determine appropriate risk management steps for clients and their vendors
- ensure CSU standards regarding events with minors are properly enforced
- submit alcohol service requests on behalf of off-campus clients
- review food and beverage plans for each event to ensure proper coordination with approved caterers
- utilize event-diagramming software to design meeting and event space equipment layouts
- maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and attend safety meetings
- assist with preparation of annual operating budget for art galleries
- assign charges for events and process payments
- attend to customer requests and respond to concerns
- schedule and lead pre-event client walk-throughs
- attend and monitor high-profile or complex reservations
- work with Communications, Marketing, and Design to promote Art Gallery scheduling
- support day-to-day operations of UCC including assisting clients, answering phones, and monitoring Titan Link submissions
