Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in related field
  • 3-5 years of event planning or related experience
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with vendor sourcing and contract review
  • Experience with webinar platforms
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently and adapt to fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in event management, hospitality, marketing, communications or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in event planning or related field
  • Experience in professional services firm preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with vendor sourcing and contract review
  • Experience with webinar platforms
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and event technology platforms preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead initial planning and strategy sessions with stakeholders to align events with business goals
  • Organize and manage all facets of firm and client meetings including virtual, hybrid, and social events
  • Conduct market and vendor research, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
  • Develop and execute promotion and communication plans with marketing teams
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage event data and attendee lists
  • Oversee event logistics and provide on-site support including registration and troubleshooting
  • Manage event technology including webinar platforms, apps, and interactive features
  • Manage event budgets and report on expenses to stakeholders
  • Plan and manage all event materials such as invitations, agendas, and signage
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure event success
  • Provide superior service to attorneys, staff, clients, and attendees
  • Prepare post-event evaluations to measure success and identify improvements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
