Job Requirements

Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Have one year of work experience
Have an equivalent combination of education and experience
Have a valid Maryland class C noncommercial driver's license or equivalent
Be eligible to obtain a Baltimore City driver's permit
Must upload a copy of valid driver's license when applying
Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and walk for large portions of the day

Job Qualifications

Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Have one year of work experience
Have an equivalent combination of education and experience
Have a valid Maryland class C noncommercial driver's license
Ability to work effectively in a service-oriented environment
Knowledge of proper and safe use of custodial equipment and chemicals
Ability to operate vacuum, scrubbers, polisher, etc.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with staff and diverse constituents
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
Ability to prioritize workload
Ability to stand and walk for large portions of the day
Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture
Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors
Empty, clean, and line wastebaskets and recycling containers inside and outside of the facility
Clean and dust walls, lockers, furniture, and fixtures
Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies as directed
Polish elevators, escalators, railings, and other metal fixtures
Wash walls and clean interior and exterior windows
Perform related duties as required
