Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of work history preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with sharp attention to detail
- Valid Florida driver license
- Must pass a criminal background check and polygraph examination
- Willingness to work variable schedule based on event needs including nights, holidays, and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good arithmetic reasoning skills
- Experience in cash handling or customer service, parking, or transportation
- Experience with computerized revenue control systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public
- Ability to manage financial transactions accurately
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare parking lots and garages for event operations
- Direct traffic entering and leaving parking facilities
- Provide direct customer service including verbal or written directions to venues and facility status
- Identify and report safety hazards, customer problems, law enforcement or traffic control issues
- Remove debris or obstructions from immediate work area
- Set up signs and devices
- Receive and verify start bank, provide change, scan and collect permits, conduct check and credit transactions and validations
- Count and reconcile bank, prepare reports and deposits
- Perform duties under adverse conditions such as exposure to exhaust fumes, noise, outdoor weather conditions, and standing or walking for extended periods of time
