Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred
  • parking experience preferred
  • effective communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • valid drivers' license or ability to obtain one
  • ability to work flexible schedules including long, irregular hours
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • positive and professional attitude
  • computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to travel if required

Job Qualifications

  • Parking experience preferred
  • experience coordinating arena shows, conferences, or meetings preferred
  • minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred
  • effective oral and written communication skills in English
  • valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  • ability to identify facility users’ needs
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and internet software
  • knowledge of crowd management, customer service, supervision and training principles, fire and public safety regulations, and parking technology systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of assigned events
  • thoroughly describe venue services and coordinate with clients
  • assist clients with event logistics and facility usage
  • coordinate with Operations for event setup and safety compliance
  • review emergency procedures with event staff
  • create and distribute detailed Event Data Sheets
  • communicate event requirements clearly and timely to building staff
  • update event estimates and complete event settlements
  • problem solve and delegate responsibilities professionally
  • recommend and evaluate event staffing levels
  • serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled
  • hire, discipline, evaluate, schedule, train, and develop part-time parking staff
  • develop and update Parking Department's Policies and Procedures Manual
  • complete duties with a customer service focus
  • lead OVGP training and orientation projects
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • potential travel
